A must on any trip to Kauai, though muddy, rocky, and somewhat strenuous. Kauai holds such unparalleled beauty. You see it on this trail especially. Advice: Get there early, before the trail gets crowded so you can go at your own pace. If you do get there early, watch out for the crazy looking spiders that make their web on the trail.

This place is in an "out of the way" location, but well worth the drive. The scenery is out of this world, just like being in a western movie

Its amazing to watch the power of the ocean!

Cape Perpetua Scenic Area includes everything from tide pools at the edge of the ocean to a dramatic cleft in the rocks where the waves come crashing in. There are over 20 miles of hiking trails here. But you don't have to be a hiker to enjoy this place - much of it can be seen with short easy walks on level paved surfaces.

Visiting Ape Cave is a must! Lava tube hike with a lantern...kinda scary, but so worth it!!

Should you choose to bring tribute items, please note that they will be subject to security screening. Items larger than 8”x17”x19” will not be permitted and no storage is available at the Memorial. When Arriving at the memorial: Please enter at the corner of Albany and Greenwich Streets (1 Albany Street for GPS directions). We strongly suggest you plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled reservation, as it is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate late arrivals. All visitors and baggage are subject to security screening. Since there is limited parking near the 9/11 Memorial, we recommend you take public transportation. Visitors should know that temperatures can routinely exceed 105 °F (41 °C) in the summer, so bringing plenty of water is a must.

Been obsessed with Buckskin for almost a year now, finally going May 4th.

While this site is REALLY small (only a 30 foot long wall), it has spectacular petroglyphs all bunched up together. Worth the visit if you’re in the area.

You just can't imagine the number of picto and petroglyphs here, it is way off the beaten path, but worth it!
